We respect our leader Dr. Riek Machar and we are loyal to him,

We respect His Excellency our Governor Simon Kun Puoc and we are loyal to him,

We respect our late leader Jashuo Opal Lual (let him rest in eternal peace) and we are his loyals,

We respect Professor Peter Lam Both, the current minister of media & broadcasting of South Sudan in Upper Nile,

We respect our brother Deng Yiech Bachech, a prominent member in the office of state governor of Upper Nile,

We respect our brother Bom Wicheng Ruach who is now doing his graduate studies in Kingston, Ontario, and

We respect all Nuer leaders, elders and heroes.

 

Dear my brothers in Nuer community everywhere. I thank God for giving me this opportunity to write to all of you and I want to assure you that I have prayed for each of those mentioned above because they are our brothers and leaders. They are not only leading Nuer (s) but all Southerners. Few days ago someone wrote a vilifying letter to the Nuer International Forum and that person represented himself in the name of Tut Makal Dojiok. Tut Makal suspected that it was me who wrote that vilifying article which is seemingly not the case but I apologise for any offend that letter might have carried simply because it is not Tut or neither me who wrote it. I know Tut Makal very well and I believe that he can not do that but I wonder why did he think it is me and I am his best friend. Brothers, I want all of you to forget about that article, Tut Makal cannot do that and it is not him who wrote that messge for sure. An enemy of Tut who is jealous of Tut or who just wants to spoil Tut's name and refutation did that. That is why I want us to forget about that message as it is baseless and it has no grounds for implications.

Tut Makal Dojiok

Tut Makal Dojiok is a friend of mine and based on how far I have known him, Tut cannot write an article which carries offensive messages as was lyingly done by the person who wrote the article. Tut is a person who like to help others alot regardless of who you are or where you are from. Therefore, those who wrote that article are not telling the truth, they only want to taint Tut's image negatively to create bad impression about him. For this reason and other more, let's not take those lies that were seriously coined negatively against Tut. They are simply not true.

Tut's favourite politicians

I talk to Tut everyday and I have known some of his political favourite figures. Tut likes Dr. Riek Machar very much as well as James Hoth Mai, Gathoth Gatkuoth, a personal friend of his, Gordon Koang Kulang, Jashuo Opal and all other Nuer politicians. Tut can even dispute it with you if you try to criticise any of the figures I have mentioned, thereby creating a fact that Tut cannot talk against those political figures at all. It is true that Tut did not write anything against those politicians. Tut did not write that aricle totally.

Tut's favourite scholars

I talk to Tut always and I have known some of his favourite scholars. Tut's favourite scholar is Professor Peter Lam Both. He talks to me on several occasions about the smartness and intelligence of others like Deng Yiech, Albino Wiyual, Bom Wicheng who was once his teacher. He also told me that he tends to favour peter Lam Both for two reasons; first being the fact that he is his relative based on their lineage and secondly he tends to favour his academic abilities. For all these reasons and all others I believe that Tut can never write against any of those people at all. The writer only wants to taint Tut's image negatively and therefore it is not true that Tut did that.

Tut and division

Tut has no division in his heart for Nuer at all. I know Tut very well and he cannot discriminate you wether you are Gajaak, Lou, Gajiok, Gaguang, Gawaar, Laak or Nuer (s) of Bentiu. The writer knows that Tut does not have any division in his heart that is why he tried to forge lies against Tut in order to spoil his leadership. When you guys study how Tut behave as I have somehow known, you will know that he has no divisions for Nuer (s) and leave alone this as Tut can also cross the line to make friendship with Dinkas, Equatorials and all other Sudanese. Tut has a broader focus and he is a very Sudanese minded person.

Tut's leadership quality

I personally know that Tut has a lot of leadership qualities. The person who wrote about Tut's quality of leadership as ineffective and failing has not told the truth. Tut is a good leader and I hope he will assume an excellent leadership role when he graduates or in the future. Tut has a good heart for people and he is a tireless helper and if to rate him, I would even go further than this. Tut can be a very good leader in the community, for instance, if you wake Tut at midnight to give you a ride to some places , he would be more willing to do that right away.

Tut and religion

Tut believes in Jesus as well as Ngundeng. Tut is a member of Seventh Day Adventist, his daughters are choirs. The fact that he was negatively quoted to have doubted the existence of Adam or Eve will I believe make his faith even more stronger. God works in mysterious ways and this challenge may even be another call for Tut to renew his faith in journey of this life and beyond. God created humans and humans create scientific theories and as the saying goes that "The foolishness of God is wiser than human wisdom" It is true that anthroplogists or naturalists can project the events of prehistoric times in some ways that do not literally relate to it sometimes. To be accused of not believing in God is not bad at all. It is only a call to renew one's faith. Tut is not a communist minded person nor does he restrict any religious freedom and worship but he actually promotes them.

Personal comments

Tut's email was retrieved as this is not new. I believe it also happened to some of you if not most. I know that Tut did not write that article and his reactions indicated the fact that he did not write the article. I know that some guys did it, non of which is me. I have some suspects in my mind and they did mention my name in those article to conflict Tut with me but it won't be fair to mention their names or I may only be complicating the matter. I respect figures like Professor Peter Lam Both and I met him when he was teaching modular courses at the University of Lethbridge in June, 2007.

Reconciliation phase

I went through rough moments as I spent sleepless nights thinking when Tut threatened to conflict with me. I want to resolve this case by putting it upon me though I did not do it and by asking all of you to forgive me because you are all my Nuer brothers and I want all of you to accept the apology of Tut Makal.
